The days of career information took happen in Zwickau on 21st and 22nd of September. In this context and in the spirit of promoting young talents we presented our company and informed interested parties about possible training-courses at Saxa-Syntape. Some visitors were very enthusiastic about our wheel of fortune, where some people could win a very special, limited prize - a bag made of regranulated Christo-material.
End of 2023 our company was successfully certified by TÜV Austria again.
This Monday evening a huge contingent of rescue workers arrived at our company premises around 5:20 p.m. Fortunately, the reason was only the annual exercise of the volunteer fire brigades around Werdau, that played through and tested an operational scenario on our premises lasting several hours. We were live and amazed for what these heroes achieve every day. For us, this was also an instructive fire protection training course for emergencies. It was great we were able to take part of that - as our thank, we were happy to provide food for everyone involved after the exercise.
May we introduce Huey, Dewey and Louie - recently added to the Saxa family. Promoting youngsters is also a top priority for us, which is why we protect our black redstart chicks until they fledge.
We rely on renewable energies. The roof at hall two - the first of several building roofs with planned photovoltaic installation - is is largely completed.
Everyone is in zest for action and full of energy. Our kestrel chicks evolve pretty nice as well, thanks to diligent parental care.
Finally - today was the day. Our knitting machines were moved to their future location - the Red Factory. We haven not spared any efforts to realize that.
The Red Factory is in progression. Soon, our knitting work and technical center will be built here.
It was Idea and Dream - the artists Christo and Jeanne-Claude decades worked on to realize their project. 25,000 square meters of fabric - woven from yarns made by Saxa - were needed for implementation to wrap the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. We are in awe and proud that we were part of this great project. Live on site we convinced us of the overwhelming result.
